URBAN DECAY GWEN STEFANI EYESHADOW PALETTE

Hello My Lovlies

Today I will be doing a review on the Gwen Stefani Eyeshadow Palette. I have been meaning to do this post for a while but I wanted to test it out before I gave my full review. So lets begin:

Urban Decay have always been a brand I loved with their eyeshadow palettes being so pigmented and buttery however I never really bought any of their products because they are expensive. Nonetheless that was about to change when I heard Urban Decay was collaborating with Gwen Stefani. I was very excited because I have always been a fan of her music ever since her album L.A.M.B came out with the "Hollaback Girl" single. However I was a bit spectacle because she has a quirky and out there with her fashion which she pulls off very well. So I was wondering if she was going to be out there with her colours and be extreme. However I was rightfully mistaken with the colours in the palette.

When I saw the palette my heart fell in love because of the colours. The colours are very warm and neutral which might not appeal to everyone. However each shadow has a different finish (metallic, pearl, iridescent and matte) which makes it more appealing for me.

What more do want in a palette? You can create a day and evening looks. I knew this was going to be my first purchase from Urban Decay because I loved the palette and knew I would be obsessed. There was not any colour I would not use in the palette.

The package is amazing I love the gold, white and black theme. It is very sturdy with a magnetic closure, so it wouldn't break the shadows when you close it. When you open it there is a enormous mirror with all the shades staring at you (*my heart melts*). The palette comes with samples of Gwen Stefani's Lipstick collection which will be launching in January which I cannot wait for.

Gwen Stefani created 12 new shades exclusively for this palette and three are existing shades which she likes. I also love how she named the eye shadows which makes it personal to her. The palette retails at £40 which is expensive nevertheless it is totally worth it because you will get so much wear from it and it will last you a long time.

I would highly recommend you go buy this palette before it is out of stock. You will be reaching for this palette everyday. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!!!!!

I Hope You Enjoyed this Review.

Goals for 2016

Happy New Year My Lovelies,

I hope you all had a great New Years Eve and even made some resolutions for this year. I have to say 2015 did go quickly and I can't believe I am doing this post again. I have to say I did achieve some of my goals I set in 2014 for example being organised and I got myself a Macbook Pro which was exciting. I can't believe lasted this long without one really.

So lets begin with 2016 goals:

Reading More Qur'an

This had to be one of the most important ones I am going to do because since I have graduated from my mosque class. I have to carry on reading by myself however I want to go to more Islamic lectures or even courses to learn more about my religion.

Praying on Time

This is also important because I want to learn to pray on time but also try and not to miss so many. I want to try and finish all my prayers before I go out with friends or even go out after I have prayed Maghrib.

Travel

I said this in my 2015 goals and I did achieve it when I went to Amalfi Coast, Malindi and Watamu. I am planning on going to a different country this year with my family but we shall see about that over summer. I also want to travel more within the UK as well.

Read More Books

I want to start reading motor books to help me with new vocabulary but also it is another way to relax and just be away from your phone and laptop. I also want to start to read more Islamic books to increase my knowledge about Islam and to educate others about the religion.

Learn More About Islam

This goal is something I want to achieve because it will help me in the future when I get married and have children. I want to have the knowledge about Islam and I am only going to do that by reading, researching and going on lectures.

Believe In Myself

This year I want to be confident in what I am doing and grow as an individual. I want to inspire others and also create a change. I know creating a change won't happen over night but I do want something to happen. I would keep on trying until it does.

Friday Loving #4

Hello My Lovelies

It's Friday which means Friday loving time...This week I have been loving a range of things, so let's begin.

Nandos

This week I have been loving going to nandos...even though some places are not halal. I still love their vegiterian option though. When I go there I always order the Beanie if it is not halal however when the restaurant is Halal. I will go for Butterfly Burger with chips. For the start I always order the Houmous with the Peri-Peri drizzle. The Peri-Peri drizzle with the Houmous is just amazing. If you have not been to Nandos, then I would recommend it because their chicken is amazing. You can pick different Peri-Peri sauce to put on the chicken when it is cooking. Would recommend you try out Nandos!!!

Naked Skin Foundation by Urban Decay

I will be doing a proper review on this product in a few weeks time. I just wanted to touch on this briefly but I love this foundation because you do not feel it on your face and it blends so well. The foundation makes your skin better and I love it so much. It hides majority of your blemishes and redness. It's very buildable as well, if you want a light finish or a heavy finish. The end results is matte but also dewey. I would recommend you go buy the foundation.

That is all for this week, I know it's only two things but I would have more next week.

Comment below what you have been loving, Would love to know
Thank you reading and there will be more next week

The Best Moments of 2015

Hello My Lovlies

This is a long overdue post but better late than never. I wanted to share my achievements over 2015 and what I felt made it successful. Have I reached any of my goals that I set at the end of 2014. So lets begin;

1. I have become more organised during second part of year. I did become consistent with putting more posts up but I did lose the consistency. I am sorry for everyone who reads and wants more. I am hoping in 2016 I become more regular and try and control my time.

2. Passing my first year of University which was very exciting. I am studying to become a teacher and I am loving every moment of my degree because I have a passion for it. So I am enjoying uni life and I don't find it stressful what so ever. Finishing the first year means just a step closer to my dream job. Insha'Allah.

3. Getting a job within a school which I was supper thankful for because I am in the field of where I want to work in the future. So when I got the call, I couldn't be happier and appreciative for the opportunity. So I am studying and working in the field I am want to be in.

4. I was able to go to Kenya last year and see my family. I haven't seen them in 2 years. I have to say it was the best feeling ever because I have missed them so much. 2 years felt like 5 years since I last saw them. I am very close to my family and I would do anything for them. I have to say not seeing them for 2 years is far to long, so I will carry on seeing them every summer..Insha'Allah.

5. Amalfi Coast was an amazing experience even though I only spent a day there I would want to re-visit and spend more time because it was so peaceful. The seneary was amazing and the view from the cliffs was medmorising/breathtaking. Would really recommend going.

6. My biggest achievement I feel in 2015 was starting to wear the hijab on Monday 13th July..4 days before Ramadhan started. I am planning on doing another post about wearing the Hijab but that will come at a later date. I have been thinking about it for a while and wanted to do it but always doubted myself in way. However I realised I was just holding back and I had nothing to worry about because I am still the same person but I just have a scarf on my head nothing else has changed I am still me.

These are a few of my memories of 2015. I have to say last year was the year where I think I found myself and became confident.

Comment below what your memories of 2015 were because I would love to know.
