New York in a Bottle

Hello My Lovelies,
Today is a review on a perfume that I have been using everyday for the past 3-4 months (I think). The perfume is called New York by Autograph. I love this perfume because its very rich smell but not a very strong smell. There is a hint of vanilla and a woody smell which I love. The price of this perfume is amazing and how much you get. So it retails for £18 for 100ml bottle. Which is a good price and for what you get. You would only get this product only in M&S since Autograph is part of the Marks and Spencer company.

The packaging of New York is like the Chanel bottles but had a chunkier cap and it's more square. The packaging is simple which represents the fragrance very well. I would recommend this product you go to M&S and spray it on your clothes.

What's your current favourite Perfume?
Comment below would love to hear your recommendations.
Thanks for reading

Lush Haul

Hello Lovelies
Few weeks ago I went into Lush because they had a sale with their gift sets. Lush is a bath and spa store which sell bath bombs, shower gel and make up. They have a variety of different smells and fragrances. All their products are natural and handmade. All their ingredients are organic and they are all suitable for vegetarians. I would recommend going into the lush store and trying out their products because they smell AMAZING. Enough rambling lets get back to the products I got.
So I bought their Sweet Christmas Gift Set and it was going for 50% original price. So it was a bargain getting 8 products for like less than £2.50. So it was a good price for the 8 items you get. Unfortunately some of the products are not available because they are the Christmas collection.  So the items I got were:
Candy Mountain Bubble Bar*: This is a bubble bar which you do not have to use all at once. You just take the small amount and crumble it under the running water. I love the smell of this product, its bubblegum with a hint of vanilla which I love might not be to every ones taste.
Think Pink Bath Bomb: The colour of this bath bomb I love and I love the flowers. It smells like lavender and vanilla which is a nice smell. Lavender is good for relaxing and calms the mind which is good for when you are stressed out.
Think Pink (Left) and Candy Mountain (Right)

Rock Star: The rock star soap smells of vanilla which is sweet and love the smell. It is also good for people with sensitive skin. I haven't tried this product out and I cant wait to use it.
Rock Star
Reindeer Soap*: The soap smells of berries which I love. I haven't tried this product but I have tried their soaps and I love their soaps because it lasts a very long time. So very excited to use this product.
Reindeer Rock Soap
Magic Wand*: This creates bubbles in your bath and your able to it again and again. Magic Wand smells like bubblegum and its very sweet. I have heard so many good reviews on this product and I'm excited to use it.
Magic Wand
Rose Jam Shower Gel: I absolutely love this product and smells amazing. Smells like roses. I used this product before and it leaves your bathroom smelling good.
Bubblegum Lip Scrub: This product is good because it leaves your lips feeling smooth and soft. It only uses two ingredients which are sugar and Jojoba Oil which is organic. You do not have to use to a lot of this product as well which is good and will last you time. It really smells of bubblegum and the best thing it taste good as well.
Honey Trap Lip Balm: You can really smell the honey and vanilla when you put the lip balm on your lips. At first I didn't like the smell straight away the smell goes away after a while. So now I love it because its a matte finish and doesn't have any gloss at all.
Rose Jam (Left) Bubblegum (Middle) Honey Trap (Right)
Check out Lush Website for all their products. I would really recommend Lush Cosmetics because they fresh and handmade using natural ingredients.

Please leave a comment of what you love at lush?

Pipdig

Hello Lovelies

Today I wanted to do a review about Pipdig. This was where I got my new web design from. This is not a sponsored review, this is what I wanted to do because they are an amazing company and I wanted more people to know about them. The design I chose was Minim because I liked how it looked and the popular post slider however I paid little extra to have the popular post bar at the top. They have a variety of different blog templates and with different format (Blogger or WordPress). All the blog designs are at a reasonable price and very affordable.

The service Paul gave was really good because he understood what I wanted and listened to what I was telling him. He was quick to reply to the emails I sent him and was helpful if I needed any help. He quick at installing the design as well. I would really recommend this company to anyone who are on a budget and are looking for a change in their blog design. Having this new blog design has given me the more urge to do more blog post because I was not a fan of my previous design. So I am really happy and so thankful to Paul.

Go check out their Website which is: http://www.pipdig.co/

Thanks for readying!

Reviw: Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water

Hello Lovelies

Today is a product review on the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water. This is like the cheaper version of the Bioderma. If you don't know anything about Micellar water - its a water base solution that has something (I don't know what, science isn't really my subject) that breaks down makeup. This cleanser is cheaper compared to other cleansing water.

Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water breaks down your make up very well. I really love this product. It doesn't leave any nasty oils on your face and it's fragrance free which is good. It takes away eyeliner and mascara which we all know can be very stubborn however with this product its very easy. I don't have to tug or pull on my skin. After using this product my face feel smooth and looks really fresh. I have to admit I use this sometimes as a cleanser when I am feeling lazy.

The packaging of this product I really love because it is sleek with it's pink top. which I love!! The product doesn't come out to much either and a little goes a long way as well.  There is nothing much I can say about this product, just i love it and I will need to buy another one since I have ran out. You can get it at Boots or Superdrug retailing at £4.99 for a 400ml bottle. I would recommend this Micellar Water to anyone.

Do you guys have any other recommendations? What you think of the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water?

Thanks for Readying

Ethnicity Tag!

Hello Lovelies,

I thought it will be a good idea to do that Ethnicity Tag. So that you get to know my background. I hope you enjoy and please comment so I get to know you as well.

1. Where are you from?

So I was born and raised in Buckinghamshire, England (Uk) but ethnic wise I am half Italian and half Kenyan. My Dad is from Italy and Mum is from Kenya. I like to think I have a good mix of culture and I am thankful I get to see different cultures as well.

2. When was the last time you visited your country?

Italy I went last summer (2014) and Kenya I went summer of 2013. I go to Kenya and Italy every year however I was not able to go Kenya because of the times I finished my work placement and my A-levels results. Hopefully I am planning on going this year though. It was weird not going to Kenya last summer since I have been used to going every summer.

3. What part of the country are you and your family from?

My dad is from Alvignano which is in the province of Caserta. My mum is from a village called Takaungu which is on the Kenyan Coast between Kilifi and Mombasa.

4. Name one ethnic food that you enjoy the most.

This is a tough one because I LOVE food. I love the dishes in Kenya and Italy. Some of the dishes in Italy I love are the Pizza, Risotto, Bruschetta, Meatballs and Lasagna. Nothing can beat my cousins Risotto and Pizza over in Italy are way more nicer. Kenyan dishes which I love are: Githeri (mixture of beans an corn together), Ugali (cornmeal), Sukuma (Kale cooked), Nyama Choma (Roasted Meat), Chapati (Bread) and so many more. I can go on and on talking about food.

5. Name one household item that best represents your culture.

There isn't just one item that will represent my culture, there is a few things which are a bucket, African broom and a wooden spoon.

Why bucket, you will see this in every household in Kenya because you use it to have a shower. The African broom will be used to sweep dust
5a. Ethnic Music..

I love Afrobeats...there are a few songs which I like which are DJXclusive f.t Wizkid - Jeje, Yemi Alade - Jonny, Davido - Skelewu and I like all of the P-Square songs, there is so many which I like. I would recommend you listen to some Afrobeats because they have good beats to them.

6. Do you speak your language?

I can speak and understand Swahili (My mums language) however with Italian I can say a few words but also understand. In the future I want to be able to speak fluent in Italian and Swahili so that I can teach my children. I also want to learn Arabic since my great grandfather comes from Saudi.

Comment below about your ethnicity would love to know! What is your favorite ethnic food?

Goodbye 2014 Hello 2015

Hello Lovelies

This is Part 2 of the Goodbye 2014 and Hello 2015 series. This is where I make resolutions for myself and also goals that I want to achieve by the end of 2015. Lets hope I stick to them. Lets begin:

Healthy Eating - This year I want to try and eat healthier and become more active. So start running and just drink more water because sometimes I do feel dehydrated (not good). Cut down on my fast food intake and to snack on dried fruit or nut.

Apple Macbook Air - I have always wanted a Macbook and been talking about it for years but never got the chance because they are expensive. However since Apple launched the Macbook Air it's a bit cheaper than the Macbook Pro and for me it's more efficient because I will be taking it to College and when I go on holiday. So I will be saving up for one and hopefully by the end of year I will have one.

Being consistent with my Blog - So I really want to be more consistent with my blog and upload at least 2 post a week. Then once I get into a schedule I will be able to upload more during the week. I just want to upload more than I did in 2014. I know it will be hard but hopefully I will be able to handle college and blogging.

Travelling - I feel like I need to go to different places in the UK but also different countries. So I plan to go to London for often just to explore different areas and also go to Brighton. I have always wanted to walk along the beach and Brighton Pier.

Organizing - I lack in organizing my college and making new blog post, that is why I didn't upload much in 2014. However that is about  to change because I will become more organised with college work and blog post.

So those are my goals for 2015 and hopefully when the year ends, I will have achieved most of them.

What are you goals or resolutions? Please comment below

Goodbye 2014 Hello 2015 - Part 1

Some Images of 2014

Hello Lovelies

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!

I can not believe we are in 2015 where has 2014 gone. For me I feel we are still in 2014 because it just went so quickly. I have to say 2014 has been quite eventful and challenging however there were good memories. Its now time to make new goals and resolution for 2015.
Highlights of 2014

I have to say the main highlight of 2014 was definitely going to Italy during the summer. I had a lovely holiday with my family and friends. It was my first time going during July/August and I would recommend going at the time. It is always sunny and lovely. We are planning on going again during summer no more going in October.

Another highlight is finishing my A-levels. In May I finished Year 13 which meant it was time for me to leave my secondary school. I have been at the same school for 7 years. It was a really weird experience leaving because I was never coming back in September. In a way I was glad I was finishing because it meant I was able to start something new and pursue my career as a teacher.

September I started my Foundation Degree in Educational Practice, I absolutely love this course because I am being independent and my tutors are always helpful. I am in college at the moment but after 2 years I will go into university for a 1 year to top up to make the Degree into a BA. Hopefully everything will go to plan for me.

Year 13 prom was a good experience and I really did enjoy it because I was with all my friends. Would always want to go back and re-do it again because everyone was happy and there was no fights what so ever.

There were also a few wedding I went to during 2014, I love weddings because it is a time to get all dressed up and wear a beautiful dress. It was great fun and all the brides looked beautiful. I also went to my first Asian type wedding, it was a really good experience because I got to see another culture and their celebration.

Passing my driving test for the first time. At the end of January I passed my driving test which was really exciting and overwhelming experience since this your first step of being independent because you don't rely on your parents for lifts anymore.

2014 I started my blog as well, I always wanted to start one and thought it would get out of my comfort zone and just DO IT because I enjoy watching YouTube videos and readying blogs. I loved trying new products, so why not try a blog and tell others my opinions.

These were just a few of the highlights. What were your highlights of 2014?
